It only came to my attention that LED lights for LEGO were a thing shortly after I bought my Aston Martin DB5 kit. (I used to be a LEGO guy but had been out of the game for several years, until the LEGO store opened in my city.) Checked out a few different options but settled on Light My Bricks from Australia (sold in Canada through brickbulbs.com). Some of the other stuff looked like sketchy Chinesium; Light My Bricks did not. I assembled the car this week and installed the lights today.
VERY impressive. Everything about Light My Bricks is top notch, from the packaging to the actual product (including the needed extra/different LEGO pieces to make it all work) to the instructions. Couldn't be more satisfied. The availability of a Light My Bricks kit will be a deciding factor when I make my next LEGO purchase.
